“Success is not final; Failure is not permanent. It is the courage to continue that matters.” But if you are failing to prepare then you are preparing to fail, as quoted by Benjamin franklin. Success comes to those who are determined and have plans to achieve those goals well planned beforehand. An organized plan works as a ladder to the achievement of goals. You become aware of most of the obstacles and are able to work your way through them. Getting success is all about mind over matter, if you don’t mind, then it doesn’t matter. Those who are determined to succeed do not wait for the opportunity to knock at their doors but create one for themselves. There’s nothing that can stop you from achieving anything than you yourself. Detailed planning is important at every step in order to avoid distraction at max and to increase the concentration to stay attentive. You get a roadmap of how to move on, what to do and when it is to be done and in how much time. This way one can stay focused as well as track their performance, become self-critics and amend it as per their requirement. One doesn’t get a lot of chances to grab the opportunities and they may never come again so we must learn to not let them go rather be ready. Accomplishing plans, gradually, as you move forward towards your goal keeps one motivated and satisfied with what they are doing as everything and every task is segregated to be done at a certain time. This helps a person to become mentally prepare to identify the route to success. Lack of planning can be proved majorly disastrous and might lead to failure. Planning can help you to explore and study every possibility, obstacle, opportunity to overcome any situation, and potential challenges in brief well before and one can decide what works best for them.
Planning develops clear objectives and lets you take suitable actions towards the goal strategically. One can work up to their potential and can make no stone left unturned. There will almost be negligible fear of unknown. If a plan does not work out, you can always design another one as per the situation but remember never to change your goal even if you fail as failure is the foundation of success. It is rightly said by Pablo Picasso that “our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” Successful people have not achieved success by accident, they have spent years on intelligent planning and their focused effort is whatever they are built on right now. An hour of planning can save you ten hours of doing. If you are not planning to get to your goal, then its not a goal, its just a wish. Your level of planning determines how focused and dedicated you are to work and get success. Its not a one-time thing, process of planning requires analyzing the goal, the motive behind it, strengths and weaknesses of a person as well. Then different ways to overcome the issues is taken into account and a suitable route is designed into a plan. It can be a short term, a mid-term as well as a long-term plan or all three of them. Planning surely requires a lot of patience, courage and constant efforts to pull the best results out of oneself. Failing which one is set to face the failure. However, planning doesn’t terminate the possibility of failure completely but reduces its probability to a greater extent. Either you can give excuses, or you can find reasons to work smart instead. Its always our choice whether we are more inclined towards the idea of success or the comfort zone we get after delaying the work. People do not intend to fail and deciding not to prepare is, hence, a choice. One must learn to prioritize their work as per the requirement and act immediately if it is not set right. Preparation is essential in every aspect of life, in every kind of profession or a job. It develops the habit of punctuality, discipline and diligence. Planning is the ‘key’ ingredient in the recipe of success.
