This statement is very crucial for everyone to understand. There are various kinds of people in life who say that we were not able to achieve the success due to this reason, or that reason. However, if any person has decided to take up any task in life, he/she should give her 100 % in it otherwise he/she may prepare to fail. Person can achieve anything if he/she is determined and focused to goal. Sometimes we see that students in younger generation are not aware about their goals and in end maybe after 12th or graduation they are confused about which path to move on. Therefore, they are many times distracted from their goals. This is a serious issue among the younger generations.
Success is where preparation and opportunity meets. Person needs to understand that nothing is worse than feeling your dreams close enough to touch, yet they slip through your finger, never to return. Sometimes student thinks that the preparation he/she is doing may be enough but that can only be ascertained once he/she see the competitors and joins the other students in race. As in three idiots movie it was said that Life is a race, if you don’t run fast you’ll get trampled. I failed for my entrance this year. I prepared for it but couldn’t get through. Entrance was related to Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). I’m deeply interested in fine arts and represented the school in various state level competitions in painting and sketching. There were various students who prepared for 1-2 years but couldn’t get through. Sometimes life is hard. As a result of this failure, I realized that I would have a better outcome if I had prepared before the entrance well. I believe if we know about a particular event ahead of time and choose to not prepare for it, our chances of succeeding are very slim. We should not cheat ourselves by being lazy. If we have an interview, we should always be preparing for one of two things: preparing for the interview or preparing to fail by failing to prepare.
Are you willing to risk running out of gas if you have to make a quick trip somewhere, or do you keep an eye on your fuel gauge and try not to let it get too low? What would the cost of running out of gas be? How big a failure would it be, because you failed to prepare? Life is full of ups and downs, successes and failures. Some are big, others are small. Since we have a finite amount of time, we cannot be completely prepared for absolutely anything that might ever happen. At some point we have to say, “If that happens, I’ll just deal with the consequences.” The failure of preparation could be much larger for the those not prepared for the natural disaster, compared to those not prepared for a snack stop, right? So before you can determine where your preparation needs a bit of work, we need to figure out what you are unwilling to suffer a failure. Where in your life is failure not an option? How is your preparedness in those areas? While you may have done some preparation, is it the proper amount based on your aversion to failure? Some things cannot be prevented, but other times failure happens because the smallest thing is missing. Therefore a birthday party takes a lot of preparation. A first child takes a lot of preparation. Done properly, an interview for a job takes a lot of preparation. Have you noticed a pattern here? For the big things in life, we generally notice that there is some preparation involved. However, I
believe even the little things in life require preparation. True, the small things in life typically have small consequences for failure to prepare. While it might seem so at the time, the world will not end if you forget to tape your favorite sporting event.
At last, I just want to say that we be should diligently be prepared and should not lose the time given to us by god. As someone said time is money and if you lose it, time will teach you a lesson.
