Essay On A Fun Filled Weekend Trip With Parents To Rambo Circus
If you have kids, a trip to a circus should definitely be on your agenda as its a whole lot of fun to watch the clowns, jugglers, people and animals perform different tricks. Circuses are a dying art form today as people are hardly interested in watching them. Kids should be taken to circuses whenever they are held in the city so as to expose them to this form of entertainment too.
Our school announced one day that there was a circus called Rambo Circus going on in the neighbouring vicinity. Our school gave us discount coupons for us to go and visit the circus. So, one Saturday, Mom and Dad took us to the Rambo Circus. We were all very excited. Given below are some of the items that entertained us that day.
The flying trapeze artists
The first to perform were the flying trapeze artists. There were almost 8-10 trapeze artists and they performed some very wonderful and daring stunts. They would dangle upside down on the moving rods and catch hold of the other performer on the other side and fling him onto the opposite side. Then they all jumped one by one on the safety net below. We all clapped for them loudly.
Dancing dogs
Then came six tiny dogs and they started dancing to the music being played. The dogs were followed by their caretakers who had medium sized rings in their hands. The caretakers held the rings high up and stood at equal distances from each other. The dogs would come running and jump through all the rings one by one without faltering or missing any of them. For this feat, the dogs would be rewarded with biscuits. We enjoyed this dog show very much.
Cricket playing elephant
The elephants were welcomed to the arena with thunderous claps and shouts by the excited kids. After the initial euphoria settled down, the trainer of the elephant gave it a cricket bat which the elephant held with its trunk. The trainer then threw a big ball to the elephant from quite a distance and the elephant correctly hit the ball. Evertime the trainer bowled, the elephant hit the ball for a sixer. Everyone present there, adults and kids alike, loudly clapped and cheered for the elephant. It also carried an acrobatic performer on its trunk and circled the entire arena.
Hopping horses
We also loved the hopping horses. These horses came hopping onto the ground and whenever the trainers tried to sit on them, they would deliberately make them fall. It was so funny. After some time of trying to get on the horses, the trainers performed some very heartstopping stunts on them.
Balancing act
The last show was eight performers balancing on the handlebar of a bicycle. One performer was riding the cycle in circles and the other seven were continously getting on and getting off the cycle without ever disturbing the balance of the moving cycle. This was really amazing. Some performers also performed amazing stunts on unicycles. There were many clowns and monkeys too and they made everyone laugh with their antics.
End of the show
We enjoyed the show so much that we didn’t realise that three hours had passed by when the circus was over. We all returned home happy that evening.
